1. Custom services
WebCanBe provides custom, scoped web-production services. A quote, statement of work, or project agreement may contain project-specific cancellation, payment, delivery, and refund terms. If it does, those written terms control for that project.
2. Before work begins
A client may request cancellation before production begins. WebCanBe will review the request and return any amount that is not reasonably reserved for the project, subject to the written project terms, non-cancellable commitments, third-party costs, and applicable law. Deposits may reserve production capacity and cover planning or setup already performed.
3. After work begins
After work begins, a refund review accounts for completed work, work in progress, planning, reserved capacity, value delivered, and costs or commitments already incurred. Amounts for work completed or reasonably performed are generally non-refundable, subject to the written project terms and applicable law. If WebCanBe cannot complete agreed work, the unperformed portion will be handled or refunded appropriately in light of the written scope.
4. Completed work and handoff
Completed digital work is generally non-refundable once delivered or made available for review, except where the written project terms or applicable law require otherwise. Final handoff may be withheld until the agreed balance is paid and cleared.
5. Scope changes
A request to change direction, reduce scope, add work, or pause a project does not by itself create a refund entitlement. The parties should confirm the resulting scope, fee, and schedule in writing before the changed work proceeds.
6. Third-party costs
Third-party licenses, fonts, plugins, hosting, domains, subscriptions, or other charges may be non-refundable under the provider’s terms. The client is responsible for approved costs or commitments incurred on its behalf, even if the project is later cancelled, unless the written project terms state otherwise.
7. Chargebacks
A client should contact billing@webcanbe.com before initiating a chargeback so the parties can review the project status and documentation. A chargeback does not cancel payment obligations, intellectual-property restrictions, or rights and remedies available under the written project terms or applicable law.
8. Defect remedy
For a covered defect reported within 14 days after delivery, the remedy is reasonable correction or re-performance of the affected agreed work, subject to non-waivable law. This does not turn a defect remedy into a refund for new scope, changed direction, third-party changes, client-supplied errors, or a request to use a different creative approach.
9. Statutory rights and requests
Nothing in this page limits a consumer or client right that cannot lawfully be waived. Send a cancellation or refund request promptly to billing@webcanbe.com with the project name, payment details, and current stage. WebCanBe will review it against the applicable written terms, work performed, and applicable law.
